  1. I had a good experience with Mary Hjelm at Virginia Mason. She is an ARNP in the ENT Dept and she does the initial evaluation to decide which of their Dr’s to send you to. My current BPPV episode resolved itself (finally, mostly) before I actually saw the Dr there who evaluated my balance testing results, so I don’t have any opinion on a Dr in that dept. However, I just wanted to say that Mary Hjelm was a great listener, smart, and knows from personal experience what chronic BPPV is like, so she knows exactly what questions to ask.

    • By the way, thanks for compiling this list!
